Sarah Crist

I am currently a 4th year at the University of Cincinnati where I am  majoring in Communication with a minor in Organizational Leadership. I have come to discover that I have a passion for leadership and making others a priority. I graduated from Centerville High School where I acquired my first real taste of success. As a senior in high school I concurrently served as Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association State President and served as the National Historian for the Secondary Division of Business Professionals of America as well. At the age of 18 I represented over 54,000 students nationwide.

When I came to UC I was determined to follow my passions. I made education my top priority and in the mean time I was able to help others along the way. I thoroughly enjoy the first year experience that is fostered at the University of Cincinnati. During my 2nd year at UC I was the Treasurer of my sorority, Delta Delta Delta, a Resident Advisor in a freshmen building, and a Peer Leader for first year students as well. Little did I know that while I was attempting to help and teach others, they would be the ones teaching me.

As graduation begins to rapidly approach I want to continue to give back to my community and learn how I can become an effective alumnus. During my final year at UC I am proud to say that I represent and serve an amazing group of women in Delta Delta Delta as their Collegiate Chapter President. I am a member of the Programs and Activities Council and Student Alumni Council. During my 3rd year at UC I was fortunate enough to be tapped into a variety of honoraries including the Order of Omega, Rho Lambda, Lambda Pi Eta Fraternity, Mortar Board, and Cincinnatus Honor Society. I want to continue to make Cincinnati my home and see how I can give back and serve a community that has helped me grow into the person I am today.

"Leadership is not something that is easily obtained or learned; but, an honor that is bestowed on you by your fellow peers. We are here to help each other and serve others; I am honored to be a part of that mission."
